about the frames
I’ve quickly learnt that choosing a frame is an art unto itself. While it needs to have a great aesthetic appeal, it also shouldn’t take away the attention and effect from the artwork. The colour and material of the frame also needs to compliment the space in which it will be mounted.
After spending many hours with my framer, we narrowed the web-offered options down to the following four:
Black, White, Natural Wood, and Aluminium – all deliberately chosen for their timeless look.
The black and white frames have a stylish matt finish, while the Kiaat wood shows its natural grain. Therefore, single natural wooden frame will look unique. The aluminium frame offers a more contemporary look to the artwork. Its ultra-slim thickness lends itself to a minimalistic, neat, and unobtrusive finish.
The framing process is carried out with extreme care and the result is a gorgeous, fully archival piece of art. With the ability to choose your preferred border & glass, this will truly become your unique piece.
